Mission Statement

Recycled Racehorses is dedicated to improving and promoting the welfare of retired race horses through education, retraining and suitable rehoming in order to ensure our Thoroughbreds have a rewarding and valuable life after their racing careers have ended.

Each year thousands of horses leave racing, some because they reach the natural end of their career and others through injury or lack of ability. Racing is only a small percentage of their lives. They are able to be retrained for numerous other disciplines from hacking, pony club and leisure riding to high level show jumping and eventing..and everything in between.

Recycled Racehorses has been responsible for the successful rehoming of over 100 Thoroughbreds for their new futures. As a charity we rely on donations, sponsorships, holding down numerous jobs and our supporters generous time.

To continue to save lives, we are always in need of sponsors or supporters with any donation being 100% tax deductible.
